If you thought you were offloading cheap goods with the same name as expensive goods, you may have been selling the more expensive goods but at the cheap prices, thus losing value in the trade. This has possible negative ramifications for other players. If you have 6 market stalls and get 8 merchants on the 5th of summer, you will see only 6 merchants have spawned. You can have up to 8 merchants in the summer, but the game only spawns one merchant for each market stall you have. You could have just as easily sold one of the other 4 gauntlets. Merchant numbers are not greater than 1 for spring and fall. You try to sell the least expensive gauntlet. For example, you have 5 different steel gauntlets of varying worth. This isn't true just for metal bars, but for anything with the exact name but differing worth. I may or may not have sold it I could have just as easily have sold the 73g one instead. Both are listed as "steel bar" but one has twice the value, obviously. Todas as marcas comerciais são propriedade dos respetivos proprietários nos E.U.A. For example, I have a steel bar worth 73 that's from goblinite, and a steel bar worth 36 from standard ore. When I specify ONE of two possible items with the same name but different worth, the game randomly offloads either of the items. So, I go to my visiting merchant, with the goal of offloading the lesser steel to him/her. (Maybe this is not true, so it's a waste, but the OCD in me still would use the better steel, regardless.) I want to get rid of the lesser stuff so my gnomes are only using the sliver metal to smelt their steel armor, presumably b/c it'll be stronger. I have 2 types of steel bars: those made from slivers that are 2x as strong/expensive (what we call "goblinite"), and those from regular smelted iron that aren't as strong/expensive. Iris west young justice, Drive through voice gabriel. Can really only be described with an example.
